The Hindu celebration of Holi has many origins, meanings, and interpretations, but is noted to commemorate legends from Hindu mythology. Join narrator Anannya Bohidar and artist Soumya Dhulekar for an animated illustration of four stories that contextualize the “festival of colors” through several key perspectives.

Soumya Dhulekar is a US-based illustrator, born in Mumbai and raised in New Jersey. You can see her work in Catapult Magazine and in Drawing Power, winner of the Eisner Award for Best Anthology and listed as NYT’s Best Comics of 2019. Her work is also distributed by Maamoul Press.
