Bring your natural curiosity and craftiness into FREE live learning sessions by Penn Museum educators. Every Tuesday, join these 30-minute sessions—perfect for kids in elementary to middle school—to dig deeper into world cultures, archaeology, and anthropology with demonstrations of hands-on projects you can try at home!

Investigate a series of painted vessels to uncover stories about mythical gods and creatures from ancient Greece. Through interactive conversation with a Museum educator, you will explore the poses, symbols, materials, and artistic techniques used by makers to learn more about how ancient Greeks saw the world. Use your newly trained eye to match Greek myths to their correct pottery pieces, and think about how you would tell a story in a single image.

Recommended Materials: Paper and pencils, crayons, or markers.
