The Stories We Wear closes on June 12! Don't miss this opportunity to enjoy a tour of this eclectic exhibition with Curator Jane Hickman, Ph.D., before it closes!

What we wear has meaning. Our clothing, accessories, and body modifications encode and communicate important information about who we are, what we do, and what we believe. On this tour you will experience some of the many stories told by the ensembles in this gallery. Some of them speak of experiences quite distant from our own, like the lives and legacy of the Samurai, athletics in the ancient Mediterranean, and tattoos in 19th century Borneo. Others are closer to home and highlight figures related to the city of Philadelphia. But no matter their origin, these evocative ensembles will inspire you to reflect on the stories you wear.

Capacity is limited.
