Description

Necklace composed of round amethyst and carnelian beads, one lozenge shaped carnelian bead, one disc shaped carnelian bead, one scarab shaped amethyst bead and 3 ovoid amethyst beads which are inscribed. 91 total beads.

Necklace found was - long string of amethyst and carnelian ball beads, around neck and reaching to waist, containing 4 large lenticular beads with cartouche of Senwosret I. Note: - One half of necklace, including 2 of the large inscribed amethyst, to Cairo Museum.
