Description
Twined; cylindrical; flat bottom with sloping concave center, straight sides. Commercial cords laced into body of basket for handles. Top part is finished with a different stitch than the plain close twining of the rest; is done in a braiding twining which gives appearance of evenly spaced "ropes" on outside. Rim has braided finish. Bottom is falling out. May have had painted alternate black bands around side- only traces left.
