Description

Greenstone blade; wooden handle with carved human figure (three-fingered hands, stuck-out tongue, eyes inlaid with abalone shell) at back and carved human face on inside of shaft, under blade. Toki poutangata. Carried by a high-ranking person on ceremonial occasions
